Second VOICE Mobility Award: giving future generations top priority
The second Mobility Award goes to the partners of the Austrian Mobility Management for School project. The campaign has aimed at reducing car traffic levels and encouraging more children to walk or cycle to school by improving road safety around residential and school areas. The successful pilot project implemented in the city of Graz has led to a nationwide campaign involving 50 schools and funded by the Austrian Ministry of Environment. The final objective is to have every school in the country join the mobility programme.
The awards take the form of original cartoons.
