The Polish organisation is located in Gdanks, Poland. Its main objectives are to develop and promote the science of civil engineering also in the field of road safety. Professor Ryszard Krystek, who is at the head of the organisation has been very active in the preparation of Poland's National Road Safety Programme - GAMBIT 2000, commissioned by the Minister of Transport and adopted as programme for 2001-2010.
